About Me

I am a data scientist in the New York City that is always trying to learn new things and grow. I obtained a PhD in Computational Applied Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2016 where my research was the intersection of numerical analysis, high performance computing and renewable energy. Now days I am trying to learn all the buzzwords in machine learning and data science.

You can find some of my open source projects and applications below or check out my data science blog for more recent work.

Also, for over 17 years I was an competitive athlete in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and achieved the rank of 1st degree Black Belt and World Champion. I was fortunate enough to have an amazing coach along with great mentors, sponsors, friends, teammates and students.
